July 2006 - Introducing Malte Living of Denmark.

BTC has launched a Furniture Collection in Denmark consisting of puffs, pillows and blankets in modern Scandinavian designs. The products will become available in all major Furniture stores in Denmark during the Autumn. Fabrics are made from both wool and Polyester. The concept offers customers to add color and design to their living rooms without changing any furniture. By adding a puff and matching pillows new life may be brought to the room. The concept will be further developed with sales in other Nordic Countries and Baltic States during the Autumn.
 
   

July 2006 - Half Year results.

The results of the first half year has been presented, and show an increase in Turnover of 15 %. Results are still satisfying but lower than in same period last year. It is the plan to increase the results for second half of the year by increasing production in eaving department with new orders obtained end of second half, as well as By an increase in the new Furniture department.
By the end of the first half a total of 157 workers were employed in the company.
 

July 2006 - Recycling Company Vilkateksa started.

A partner company has been established in BTC buildings in Vilkaviskis. The company headed by Antanas Rutkauskas is specializing in the recycling of textile products such as yarns, yarn waste, fabric waste materials and used clothes. The company will ensure a proper end use of BTC waste materials such as paper and plastic cones and all textile waste products. Most products are recycled for further use in the industry and the strategy of the company is to expand further into purchase, processing and trade of recycled products.

July 2006 - Expanded weaving possibilities.

BTC have taken over a number of looms for the production of polyester curtain fabrics. The looms are mainly used for contracted production but will make the company able to increase the number of service weaving jobs in the future.
